For parents and teachers
ChristForKids is built for a child sitting with a trusted adult. Feeling pages quote the public-domain World English Bible, with a short meaning written for each age. Use the Bible lookup when you want another passage or the King James text.
How a bedtime can go
- Open Tonight. The week’s story is already paired with a coloring page, a word search, a tracer sheet, and a feeling that often shows up beside that story.
- If the feeling in the room is different, search Feelings and read the age band that fits.
- Pray the short prayer in your own voice if you like, then do the two-minute challenge or save it for morning.
- Add tonight’s three sheets to the packet when you want paper: coloring, word search, and the memory verse.
- Mark the week read, then fill in the memory verse on the story page. The year rail keeps both marks on this device.
- If you want to hear it, open Listen. The week’s story and every feeling prayer are already recorded.
Listen and say the verse
The Listen page plays the 52 bedtime stories and 60 feeling prayers recorded for the year. More than a thousand extra stories and feelings open in this device’s own voice. The verse page holds every unique verse already written for a child on this site, then points to every World English Bible chapter so those verses can be said too. Filling them in order marks the reference here. Daily readings, question pages, and encyclopedia cards can be read aloud by this device’s own voice.

Green is a story you marked read. Blue is a verse you practiced.
Church year and verse games
From Advent through Pentecost, 25 church-year nights sit beside the 52-week rail. Each one has a World English Bible verse, a prayer, a two-minute challenge, and a print slip that uses the same sheet as a daily reading. In ordinary time the home page still opens tonight’s week story. Verse games reuse those year-story memory verses: match a pair, name the book, guess who said a spoken line, or put the words in order. A right answer marks the reference on this device.
The library
Beside the bedtime kit, the library has a page for every book and every chapter of the World English Bible, a reading for each day of the year, more than two thousand encyclopedia cards, a thousand questions, a thousand topical verse lists, and more than a thousand teacher packets. The search box in the header looks across all of them, including church-year nights. Chapter worksheets and teacher kits print on US Letter, the same way the bedtime sheets do.
Hard sadness
Stories and pages about death, sickness, and tense homes stay gentle on purpose. If a child is grieving deeply, talking about hopelessness, or living with harm, stay close and get help from a pastor, counselor, or doctor. This site is a companion, not a crisis service.
Privacy and COPPA
Children do not create accounts. There is no password and no profile. The print packet, the weeks you mark read, and the verses you practice stay in this browser’s local storage. The optional weekly-pack email is for a parent or teacher. The site does not run ads. Passage lookups send the reference to bible-api.com, and to api.bible only if a server key is configured. The full note is on the privacy page.
Printing
Worksheets are laid out for US Letter. In the print dialog, turn off headers and footers for a cleaner page. Coloring SVGs stay sharp when you save them as PDF because they are vectors, suitable for a 300 DPI print.
