🌿 Lent · Lent week 4
🐑 The One Sheep
God does not shrug when one child is missing. He goes looking.
Luke 15:6 · Luke 15
“When he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’”

A hundred sheep is a lot. Jesus says the shepherd still notices one that is gone. He does not wait for the lost one to write an apology first. He searches.
If you feel left out, this story is for you. If you have a hard time sharing attention, this story is for you too. Heaven throws a party when someone is found. Practice being glad, not jealous, when God is kind to someone else.
Prayer
Good Shepherd, thank you for looking for us. Make us glad when anyone is found. Amen.
Challenge
Notice someone who is sitting alone this week and say a kind sentence.
For the adult
Use this night if a child feels invisible. Keep the tone warm, not scolding.
