✝️ Wounds That Heal
The road to Holy Week is a road of love that costs something.
Isaiah 53:5 · Isaiah 53
“But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.”
Say it
Practice Isaiah 53:5
Tap the words in order. The blanks follow the verse from left to right.

Isaiah saw a servant who would be hurt so we could have peace. That is a heavy sentence. For children, keep it true and gentle: Jesus chose to love us all the way, even when it hurt.
You do not have to explain every word tonight. Sit with the verse. Thank Jesus. Save the long talk for a child who asks. The cross is coming, and it is love, not a scare.
Prayer
Jesus, thank you for peace that cost you. Hold us as we walk toward the cross with you. Amen.
Challenge
Speak Isaiah 53:5 once, then sit quietly for twenty seconds.
For the adult
If a child is frightened, stay with “Jesus loves us this much,” and stop.
