Promises
God keeps his promises even when people do not. A child's promise should be small enough to keep.
1. Leviticus 24:8
“Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before Yahweh continually. It is an everlasting covenant on the behalf of the children of Israel.”
2. Deuteronomy 31:26
““Take this book of the law, and put it by the side of the ark of Yahweh your God’s covenant, that it may be there for a witness against you.”
3. Daniel 11:32
“He will corrupt those who do wickedly against the covenant by flatteries; but the people who know their God will be strong, and take action.”
4. Joshua 9:16
“At the end of three days after they had made a covenant with them, they heard that they were their neighbors, and that they lived among them.”
5. Jeremiah 33:20
““Yahweh says: ‘If you can break my covenant of the day and my covenant of the night, so that there will not be day and night in their time;”
6. Ezekiel 17:13
“He took some of the royal offspring, and made a covenant with him. He also brought him under an oath, and took away the mighty of the land;”
7. Ezekiel 17:18
“For he has despised the oath by breaking the covenant; and behold, he had given his hand, and yet has done all these things. He won’t escape.”
8. Galatians 3:15
“Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void, or adds to it.”
