Gladness
Gladness is a gift to share, not to hide. The psalms tell the whole earth to be glad in God.
1. Jeremiah 15:17
“I didn’t sit in the assembly of those who make merry and rejoice. I sat alone because of your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.”
2. Isaiah 14:8
“Yes, the cypress trees rejoice with you, with the cedars of Lebanon, saying, “Since you are humbled, no lumberjack has come up against us.””
3. Isaiah 23:12
“He said, “You shall rejoice no more, you oppressed virgin daughter of Sidon. Arise, pass over to Kittim. Even there you will have no rest.””
4. Isaiah 62:5
“For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons will marry you. As a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so your God will rejoice over you.”
