Childless
Start with Genesis 15:2, where the Bible uses the word childless in a real sentence: “Abram said, “Lord Yahweh, what will you give me, since I go childless, and he who will inherit my estate is…” The rest of this list stays on that same word so a family can hear it more than once.

4. Judges 13:2
“There was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and childless.”
5. Judges 13:3
“Yahweh’s angel appeared to the woman, and said to her, “See now, you are barren and childless; but you shall conceive, and bear a son.”
6. 1 Samuel 15:33
“Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so your mother will be childless among women!” Then Samuel cut Agag in pieces before Yahweh in Gilgal.”
7. Jeremiah 18:21
“Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and give them over to the power of the sword. Let their wives become childless, and widows. Let their men be killed, and their young men struck by the sword in battle.”
8. Jeremiah 22:30
“Yahweh says, “Record this man as childless, a man who will not prosper in his days; for no more will a man of his offspring prosper, sitting on David’s throne, and ruling in Judah.””
