🔥 Proverbs 8

Proverbs 8 is a real chapter from the Old Testament. It starts, “Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?” That is not a motto invented for a poster. It is the first sentence a family hears when this page is opened at night.

Keep going a little further. The chapter also says, “My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold; my yield than choice silver.” Proverbs 8 opens with these words: “Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice?” The line to keep is Proverbs 8:4: ““To you men, I call! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.” Carry the word “call” from that verse into the rest of the day.

The line worth learning out loud is Proverbs 8:4: ““To you men, I call! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.” If the rest of the chapter feels crowded, hold that one sentence until the room is quiet.

What happens first in Proverbs 8? Then try this: Read ““To you men, I call! I send my voice to the sons of mankind.” once more. What does it show you about God? You do not have to finish every verse. You can close the book after the memory verse and still have read the Bible together.
