🎺 Proverbs 31
Proverbs 31 opens with these words: “The words of king Lemuel; the revelation which his mother taught him.” The line to keep is Proverbs 31:11: “The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain.” Carry the word “heart” from that verse into the rest of the day.
Proverbs 31 is a real chapter from the Old Testament. It starts, “The words of king Lemuel; the revelation which his mother taught him.” That is not a motto invented for a poster. It is the first sentence a family hears when this page is opened at night.
Keep going a little further. The chapter also says, “She considers a field, and buys it. With the fruit of her hands, she plants a vineyard.” Proverbs 31 opens with these words: “The words of king Lemuel; the revelation which his mother taught him.” The line to keep is Proverbs 31:11: “The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain.” Carry the word “heart” from that verse into the rest of the day.
The line worth learning out loud is Proverbs 31:11: “The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain.” If the rest of the chapter feels crowded, hold that one sentence until the room is quiet.
What happens first in Proverbs 31? Then try this: Read “The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain.” once more. What does it show you about God? You do not have to finish every verse. You can close the book after the memory verse and still have read the Bible together.
“The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain.”
