🔥 Pentecost · The week of Pentecost
🌍 I Am With You
The church’s marching orders come with a promise that no one walks alone.
Matthew 28:20 · Matthew 28 and Acts 1
“teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Say it
Practice Matthew 28:20
Tap the words in order. The blanks follow the verse from left to right.
teachingthemtoallthingsthatIcommandedyou.Iamyoualways,eventotheendoftheage.”Amen.
Jesus sends his friends to the whole world, then he adds the sentence that makes it possible: I am with you always. Pentecost power is not for showing off. It is for going with company.
Your “uttermost part of the earth” might be the next room or the next cubby at school. Tell the good news in a small sentence. Jesus goes with you.
Prayer
Jesus, you are with us always. Send us into tomorrow without fear. Amen.
Challenge
Tell someone “Jesus is with you” and mean it as a blessing, not a lecture.
For the adult
This is a good night to pray for one person far away and one person nearby.
