🌅 Easter · Easter Day
🌅 He Is Not Here
The tomb is empty because Jesus kept his word.
Matthew 28:6 · Matthew 28
“He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.”
Say it
Practice Matthew 28:6
Tap the words in order. The blanks follow the verse from left to right.
Heisnothere,forhehasrisen,justheCome,seetheplacewherethewaslying.
The first Easter sermon is four words long in our ears: he has risen. The angel even adds, just like he said. Jesus does not break promises, even the ones that sounded impossible on Friday.
Shout if you want. Eat something sweet. Then go look at the story again: come, see. Faith is allowed to use its eyes. The place where they laid him is empty.
Prayer
Risen Lord, you did what you said. Fill this house with that news. Amen.
Challenge
Open a door or a window and say out loud, he is not here, he has risen.
For the adult
If the morning is chaotic, the verse still works in the car.
