What is the difference between asking and praising?
Asking tells God what you need. Praising tells him what is true about him. Both belong in prayer.
Psalms 100:4
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name.”
Philippians 4:6
“In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”
