🌊 Weeping beside Nehemiah 8:9
When weeping is loud, Nehemiah 8:9 is a sentence you can borrow. “Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people, said to all the people, “Today is holy to Yahweh your God. Don’t mourn, nor weep.” For all the people wept when they heard the words of the law.” The other two verses on this page stay with the same need.

Pray together
Lord, this is a weeping night. Keep Nehemiah 8:9 close enough to remember. Amen.
Two-minute challenge
Say Nehemiah 8:9 out loud once, then tell one person in the house what feeling it names.
Parent tip
If the feeling is bigger than a verse, stay in the room. Nehemiah 8:9 is a companion, not a fix-it line. The other two verses are for a second night if this one is enough.
