🎺 Weeping beside Joel 2:17
When weeping is loud, Joel 2:17 is a sentence you can borrow. “Let the priests, the ministers of Yahweh, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, “Spare your people, Yahweh, and don’t give your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’”” The other two verses on this page stay with the same need.

Lord, this is a weeping night. Keep Joel 2:17 close enough to remember. Amen.
Two-minute challenge
Say Joel 2:17 out loud once, then tell one person in the house what feeling it names.
Parent tip
If the feeling is bigger than a verse, stay in the room. Joel 2:17 is a companion, not a fix-it line. The other two verses are for a second night if this one is enough.
