🌾 Weeping beside Isaiah 16:9
When weeping is loud, Isaiah 16:9 is a sentence you can borrow. “Therefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah. I will water you with my tears, Heshbon, and Elealeh: for on your summer fruits and on your harvest the battle shout has fallen.” The other two verses on this page stay with the same need.

Pray together
Lord, this is a weeping night. Keep Isaiah 16:9 close enough to remember. Amen.
Two-minute challenge
Say Isaiah 16:9 out loud once, then tell one person in the house what feeling it names.
Parent tip
If the feeling is bigger than a verse, stay in the room. Isaiah 16:9 is a companion, not a fix-it line. The other two verses are for a second night if this one is enough.
