🕊️ Telling the truth beside 1 Kings 2:4
When telling the truth is loud, 1 Kings 2:4 is a sentence you can borrow. “Then Yahweh may establish his word which he spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your children are careful of their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail you,’ he said, ‘a man on the throne of Israel.’” The other two verses on this page stay with the same need.
Telling the truth

He said,…
“He said, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken his loving kindness and his truth toward my master. As for me, Yahweh has led me on the way to the house of my master’s relatives.””

I am not worthy…
“I am not worthy of the least of all the loving kindnesses, and of all the truth, which you have shown to your servant; for with just my staff I crossed over this Jordan; and now I have become two companies.”

Two-minute challenge
Say 1 Kings 2:4 out loud once, then tell one person in the house what feeling it names.
Parent tip
If the feeling is bigger than a verse, stay in the room. 1 Kings 2:4 is a companion, not a fix-it line. The other two verses are for a second night if this one is enough.
