🌾 Obeying beside Jeremiah 35:14
When obeying is loud, Jeremiah 35:14 is a sentence you can borrow. ““The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab that he commanded his sons, not to drink wine, are performed; and to this day they drink none, for they obey their father’s commandment; but I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking, and you have not listened to me.” The other two verses on this page stay with the same need.

Pray together
Lord, this is a obeying night. Keep Jeremiah 35:14 close enough to remember. Amen.
Two-minute challenge
Say Jeremiah 35:14 out loud once, then tell one person in the house what feeling it names.
Parent tip
If the feeling is bigger than a verse, stay in the room. Jeremiah 35:14 is a companion, not a fix-it line. The other two verses are for a second night if this one is enough.
