🍞 Forgiving beside Jeremiah 18:23
When forgiving is loud, Jeremiah 18:23 is a sentence you can borrow. “Yet, Yahweh, you know all their counsel against me to kill me. Don’t forgive their iniquity. Don’t blot out their sin from your sight, Let them be overthrown before you. Deal with them in the time of your anger.” The other two verses on this page stay with the same need.

Two-minute challenge
Say Jeremiah 18:23 out loud once, then tell one person in the house what feeling it names.
Parent tip
If the feeling is bigger than a verse, stay in the room. Jeremiah 18:23 is a companion, not a fix-it line. The other two verses are for a second night if this one is enough.
