🌙 Forgiving beside Deuteronomy 21:8
When forgiving is loud, Deuteronomy 21:8 is a sentence you can borrow. “Forgive, Yahweh, your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, and don’t allow innocent blood among your people Israel.” The blood shall be forgiven them.” The other two verses on this page stay with the same need.

Two-minute challenge
Say Deuteronomy 21:8 out loud once, then tell one person in the house what feeling it names.
Parent tip
If the feeling is bigger than a verse, stay in the room. Deuteronomy 21:8 is a companion, not a fix-it line. The other two verses are for a second night if this one is enough.
