Places
Nazareth in Acts 4
NAZ-uh-reth
This place shows up in Acts 4:10: “be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real place in a real place.
Acts 4:10
“be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole.”
What kids can learn
When you hear nazareth in Acts, remember the sentence around it. God put this place in the story on purpose.
Read Acts 4:10 again tomorrow and ask what the place is doing in the sentence, not only what it looks like.
