Lebanon in Judges 9
LEB-uh-nun
This place shows up in Judges 9:15: ““The bramble said to the trees, ‘If in truth you anoint me king over you, then come and take refuge in my shade; and if not, let fire come…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real place in a real place.
Judges 9:15
““The bramble said to the trees, ‘If in truth you anoint me king over you, then come and take refuge in my shade; and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.’”
What kids can learn
When you hear lebanon in Judges, remember the sentence around it. God put this place in the story on purpose.
