Ephesus in Revelation 2

This place shows up in Revelation 2:1: ““To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: “He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lamp…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real place in a real place.

What kids can learn

When you hear ephesus in Revelation, remember the sentence around it. God put this place in the story on purpose.

Read Revelation 2:1 again tomorrow and ask what the place is doing in the sentence, not only what it looks like.
