Egypt in Genesis 15

This place shows up in Genesis 15:18: “In that day Yahweh made a covenant with Abram, saying, “I have given this land to your offspring, from the river of Egypt to the great…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real place in a real place.

When you hear egypt in Genesis, remember the sentence around it. God put this place in the story on purpose.
