water in Genesis 8
WAH-ter
This thing shows up in Genesis 8:1: “God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the ship; and God made a wind to pass over the earth.…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real thing in a real place.
Genesis 8:1
“God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the ship; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.”
What kids can learn
When you hear water in Genesis, remember the sentence around it. God put this thing in the story on purpose.
