swallow in Job 7
SWAH-loh
This creature shows up in Job 7:19: “How long will you not look away from me, nor leave me alone until I swallow down my spittle?” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real creature in a real place.
Job 7:19
“How long will you not look away from me, nor leave me alone until I swallow down my spittle?”
What kids can learn
When you hear swallow in Job, remember the sentence around it. God put this creature in the story on purpose.
