serpent in Isaiah 27

This creature shows up in Isaiah 27:1: “In that day, Yahweh with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the twisted…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real creature in a real place.

When you hear serpent in Isaiah, remember the sentence around it. God put this creature in the story on purpose.
