ram in Genesis 13

This creature shows up in Genesis 13:1: “Abram went up out of Egypt—he, his wife, all that he had, and Lot with him—into the South.” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real creature in a real place.

Genesis 13:1

“Abram went up out of Egypt—he, his wife, all that he had, and Lot with him—into the South.”

What kids can learn

When you hear ram in Genesis, remember the sentence around it. God put this creature in the story on purpose.

Read Genesis 13:1 again tomorrow and ask what the creature is doing in the sentence, not only what it looks like.
