moth in Genesis 30
MAWTH
This creature shows up in Genesis 30:14: “Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them to his mother, Leah. Then Rachel said to…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real creature in a real place.
Genesis 30:14
“Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest, and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them to his mother, Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son’s mandrakes.””
What kids can learn
When you hear moth in Genesis, remember the sentence around it. God put this creature in the story on purpose.
