fly in Psalms 90
FLY
This creature shows up in Psalms 90:10: “The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real creature in a real place.
Psalms 90:10
“The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.”
What kids can learn
When you hear fly in Psalms, remember the sentence around it. God put this creature in the story on purpose.
Read Psalms 90:10 again tomorrow and ask what the creature is doing in the sentence, not only what it looks like.
