fly in Ezekiel 13
FLY
This creature shows up in Ezekiel 13:20: ““Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: ‘Behold, I am against your pillows, with which you hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear…” The Bible is not talking about a sticker. It is talking about a real creature in a real place.
Ezekiel 13:20
““Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: ‘Behold, I am against your pillows, with which you hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms. I will let the souls go, even the souls whom you hunt to make them fly.”
What kids can learn
When you hear fly in Ezekiel, remember the sentence around it. God put this creature in the story on purpose.
Read Ezekiel 13:20 again tomorrow and ask what the creature is doing in the sentence, not only what it looks like.
