Morning
On the way out, whisper 1 Timothy 5:21. It says, “I command you in the sight of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing…” Name one ordinary thing — a backpack, a sibling, a teacher — that this verse can touch.
Bedtime prayer
God, we bring you October 12. Let “I command you in the sight of God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing…” be the last loud sentence in this house. Keep us, and keep the people we love. Amen.
Challenge
Do one quiet kindness that matches the idea in 1 Timothy 5:21.
