Morning
On the way out, whisper Hosea 5:4. It says, “Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God; for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know Yahweh.” Name one ordinary thing — a backpack, a sibling, a teacher — that this verse can touch.
Bedtime prayer
God, we bring you October 6. Let “Their deeds won’t allow them to turn to their God; for the spirit of prostitution is within them, and they don’t know Yahweh.” be the last loud sentence in this house. Keep us, and keep the people we love. Amen.
