A two-minute start: open 2 Kings 5:3 and read it twice. The first time, listen. The second time, stop on “mistress.” The verse says, “She said to her mistress, “I wish that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would heal him of his leprosy.””
Bedtime prayer
God, bless the child who is still thinking about 2 Kings 5. Make “mistress” feel like your kindness, not a test. Amen.
Challenge
