Morning
On the way out, whisper Philippians 3:3. It says, “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;” Name one ordinary thing — a backpack, a sibling, a teacher — that this verse can touch.
Bedtime prayer
God, we bring you June 2. Let “For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;” be the last loud sentence in this house. Keep us, and keep the people we love. Amen.
