Morning
On the way out, whisper Zephaniah 1:7. It says, “Be silent at the presence of the Lord Yahweh, for the day of Yahweh is at hand. For Yahweh has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.” Name one ordinary thing — a backpack, a sibling, a teacher — that this verse can touch.
Bedtime prayer
God, we bring you January 21. Let “Be silent at the presence of the Lord Yahweh, for the day of Yahweh is at hand. For Yahweh has prepared a sacrifice. He has consecrated his guests.” be the last loud sentence in this house. Keep us, and keep the people we love. Amen.
