Morning
Before the car door closes, read Micah 1:16 out loud: “Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture; for they have gone into captivity…” The word to carry this morning is “shave.” Ask who needs that word today.
Bedtime prayer
Lord, thank you for Micah 1:16. Help our family remember “shave” when the day gets loud. You said, “Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture; for they have gone into captivity…” Stay near us. Amen.
