Written by Paul, with Silas and Timothy. Written for The same church, confused and tired.

Big picture in three sentences

Second Thessalonians steadies people who were shaken by rumors.

Paul tells them not to quit ordinary work or ordinary kindness.

God's peace is asked over their hearts while they wait.

The letter is short because the church needed a clear correction, not a new system.
